Human Rights
On my last trip to Liberia, Guanacaste that is located in Costa Rica; I saw a lot of homeless people living in the streets. (1) They are human’s beings. They deserve a house where to live. (2) They are not happy; they don’t have anything, but the streets. The worst thing is that people, who walk by them, do not help them because it seems normal for them like part of the culture or part of the town but this is just wrong. They are not animals, they need a house, a place to stay when is raining; they need food, basic things to survive. Everything is denied to this people they don’t even have the right to get water from the “Mercado de Liberia” because they are dirty and very poor people. (3) While the situation gets worst, they don’t do anything to help their selves. They might clean the streets to get some money but as soon as they get money they spend it in alcohol or cigarettes. Most of them end it up at the hospital very sick, with sickness as cirrhosis or others. They get sick very easily because of the germs or bacteria. They live and eat at the streets, they don’t have a place to get a shower, they don’t even have water to drink their situation is terrible. Nobody helps them because is nobody’s problem. (4) If the government were responsible, they would not be in that horrible situation, but they do not help at all.

(1) Simple sentence
(2) Compound Sentence
(3) Complex Sentence
(4) Compound/Complex
